About Our Physiotherapists
Margaret Charlton B.App.Sc (Physio) Member A.P.A. Member National Paediatric Group (A.P.A.)
Margaret Charlton commenced at Blackburn North Physiotherapy Centre as our Paediatric Physiotherapist from 2008, and services clients in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Margaret is currently undertaking the Master of Health Science (Paediatric Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney in 1991, and has worked in paediatric physiotherapy in NSW and Victoria since that time.
Her physiotherapy experience has been with large disability organisations and in addition to these services has worked in private paediatric practice and consultation, special schools, Rehabilitation centres and community health centres. Margaret’s experience is in the areas of early intervention, school-age therapy, neurological rehabilitation, developmental therapy and general orthopaedic issues and injuries.
Audrey Lee B. Physio
Audrey has had almost 10 years experience working in paediatrics since graduating from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1999. She has worked in hospitals, private practise and the disability sector in both therapeutic and consultative roles.
She works extensively with children with disabilities, and has had much experience working with children with complex and multiple needs from newborn to late teens.
Her interest is in developmental delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other neurologic paediatric conditions. However, she enjoys all facets of paediatric physiotherapy.
This includeschildren with sporting injuries and those that need post-surgical rehabilitation. She has been directly involved with football, rugby, netball, basketball and gymnastics clubs.
